I do have stories and lots of fantastic photos to share but it will have to wait until tomorrow…the internet in this new Etap is not working so well so I won’t be able to sit here and add in everything i would like. You’ll get the scoop when I return home to France tomorrow evening.

Today’s flight should be better. The reason, it turns out, that the flights were delayed the other day is that there were violent hail storms in Munich that day. They apparently needed snowploughs to clear it. Marissa arrived just afterwards which was perfect because its been sunny ever since. Here’s the URL to an article I found on the storm:

A note for Diane: Strawberry picking season started in BC. Even though it rained a LOT lately, the U-pick strawberry fields opened last week. We got two big buckets of strawberries on Sunday and are enjoying them with some yummy Italian vanilla gelato.

Mmmm..strawberries. We’ve been enjoying some strawberries here too as the lady who owns this house grows some in her garden, along with delicious rasberries too.
