I’m getting good at covering up my frustrations 🙂 Or at least trying to laugh about them. The beer helped. To be honest I did miss the quick startup of the gas BBQ as well as the even heat but when there’s meat, fire and beer its almost impossible for a guy to be unhappy.

What you are describing is called a stove, not a BBQ 🙂 BBQ is supposed to be fired up with wood…

Well that depends on the century. A stove used to be primarily a wood-fired device as well. 😉
BTW, did you notice in the photo that I’m cheating and using a modern heat gun to blow hot air on the wood to accelerate the burning?

I’m glad you are still following our adventure. As for noticing Pokeman Gold, I’ll ask Liam if he thinks its sad that you noticed it. I’m pretty sure his answer will be ‘no’. 🙂
